Founding Director
Dr. Amita Unnikrishnan Prabhin
She describes herself as an ardent learner, a passionate teacher, and a zealous life-coach. Mellyah Skills and Education is a step towards her dream of building a pan India platform for lending expert assistance to reputed organizations in building conducive work environments.
She possesses a genuine love for learning and interacting with people and believes that humans have infinite potentials when their limiting thoughts are unleashed. She holds a doctorate degree in English Language Teaching and was awarded with gold medals twice, during her university studies.
Her research aptitude and passion for doing service to the society have together proved to bear the right kind of fruits time and again. For over a decade, she served as a teacher and professor in educational institutions of repute. At present, she is also associated with an international English language testing agency as an Examiner.

What inspired the name Mellyah ?
Mellya is a name with origins in several cultures, often symbolizing qualities like beauty, grace, and wisdom. In Arabic, it can mean “queen” or “princess,” while in Hebrew, it signifies “beloved” or “gracious.” The name embodies a sense of strength, elegance, and kindness, reflecting values that resonate deeply with Mellyah Skills and Education. Like the essence of its name, Mellyah endeavors to empower individuals, nurturing their talents and potential to thrive in their chosen fields. Through education and skills development, Mellyah aims to cultivate a community of confident, capable individuals who embody the essence of their namesake, radiating competence, grace, and wisdom in all their endeavors.
